Title: Fire and Security Project Engineer

Location of Works: Bromley area/ Kent/ London

The Company: My Client, who provide Fire and Security Solutions across London and Kent are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their team.

As a Fire and Security Project Engineer your package could look like:

  • £55,000 Basic + Overtime
  • Company Van

  • 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

As a Fire and Security Project Engineer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Leading Projects from Design to Commissioning, ensuring regulations are met
  • Ensuring Projects are completed on time and in budget
  • Diagnosing and resolving system issues, repairing and replacing parts to improve systems functionality and decreasing downtime
  • Supervising experienced Engineers and training/ upskilling Junior Engineers
  • Conducting Safety Audits, Inspections and Risk Assessments
  • Surveys for new jobs
  • Working on the tools to help get jobs across the line, managing your own work and that of your Engineers
  • Attending call outs when required

As a Fire and Security Project Engineer your knowledge and experience will be:

  • 10 years’ experience in the Fire and Security Industry
  • ECS / CSCS Card
  • Working knowledge of all industry related standards
  • Carrying out surveys and quotations
  • Good customer facing skills, time management and attention to detail
  • FIA’s
  • 17th Edition Electrical is preferred but not essential 
  • Full UK driver’s license with the willingness to travel as per business demands
