JRRL are looking for a remote part time Payroll administrator to take sole ownership of the completion of all client payroll processes. This role will play a key supporting role across the whole team.

This is a remote role with a requirement to attend employee meeting once a month in Bromley, Kent.

Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible to suit your needs and that of your clients

Duties for the remote part time Payroll Administrator             

  • Sole responsibility for multiple client payroll processing and submission, mostly on a monthly basis
  • Review a high-volume of timesheets and capture data
  • Run full end-to-end payroll process
  • Manage pension submissions
  • Manage payroll queries
  • Manage PAYE/NI issues
  • Completing P11Ds for your client’s approval
  • Experience of all Bookkeeping activities
  • To work consistently to the highest standards possible
  • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job-holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Directors from time to time

Person Specification for the remote part time Payroll Administrator

  • Ideally you will have further education in Accountancy, Business Studies, Mathematics or Economics and knowledge of basic accountancy principals
  • The candidate will need to be detailed, highly organised with hands-on payroll administration and processing experience
  • They must have an eagerness to improve processes and execute
  • The candidate will also have experience in day-to-day bookkeeping
  • The role covers multiple clients and workstreams and thus high attention to detail and good organisational skills are important
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a confidential nature
  • Self-motivated, respectful and professional
  • Have an inquisitive nature and the ability to resolve issues
