Learning Support Assistant (Daily Supply)
Bromley, London (BR1)
£85 - £95/day

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant team at our partner school in Bromley, London.

The successful candidate will support students with their learning activities and help create a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the delivery of educational programs and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.-
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.-
  • Support students with special educational needs
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
  • Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Supervise students during break times and school trips.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of educational practices and principles.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the school.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Availability to work on a temporary basis.
Right to work in the UK.
