Salary: Up to 50,063 per annum + AMHP uplifts

Ackerman Pierce is currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker/AMHP to join The Hub in Bromley, a partnership between the London Borough of Bromley and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, offering direct pathways between primary and secondary mental health care.
The Role:
As a Senior Social Worker in The Hub, you will:
- Provide professional supervision to a team of social workers.
- Undertake or support complex initial assessments both on-site and in the community.
- Act as the Safeguarding Adults Manager (SAM) within the team.
- Provide expert advice on the Care Act, safeguarding, and advanced practice.
- Work with a small, short-term caseload (up to 12 weeks) supporting residents to remain in primary care.
- Participate in a centralised AMHP service on-site at Green Parks House every 5-6 weeks, supported by an experienced AMHP manager.
Desirable but not essential: Practice Educator qualifications (training for PEPS1 and PEPS2 will be provided as part of your professional development).
Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification (DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- AMHP Qualification.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding procedures, and mental health legislation.
- Ability to provide leadership and supervision within a professional social work team.
