Day-to-day of the role:- Engage directly with children, families, victims, and volunteers to deliver tailored social care services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative practices and strategies.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality court reports that advocate effectively for children.
- Work closely with a supportive management team that provides clear oversight and invests in professional development.
- Utilize well-resourced facilities and the freedom to apply creative approaches to effect positive change.
- Qualified Social Worker or Probation Officer with a passion for youth justice.
- Experience in children’s services, youth justice, or a related field.
- Strong commitment to child-focused practice and advocacy.
- Ability to work creatively and innovatively within a team setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manageable caseloads and dedicated time for reflective supervision.
