Social Worker - Youth Justice

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Engage directly with children, families, victims, and volunteers to deliver tailored social care services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative practices and strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality court reports that advocate effectively for children.
  • Work closely with a supportive management team that provides clear oversight and invests in professional development.
  • Utilize well-resourced facilities and the freedom to apply creative approaches to effect positive change.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Social Worker or Probation Officer with a passion for youth justice.
  • Experience in children’s services, youth justice, or a related field.
  • Strong commitment to child-focused practice and advocacy.
  • Ability to work creatively and innovatively within a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
