The school is seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team and support their amazing students with special educational needs.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children with a range of learning and developmental needs, ensuring that they can thrive in a stimulating and caring environment. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to implement tailored learning plans and provide individual or group support to students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and group support to SEN pupils.
Helping implement tailored learning strategies and interventions.
Encouraging students personal, social, and emotional development.
Assisting with classroom management to ensure an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Collaborating with teachers and staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt learning approaches.
What Were Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in UK schools.
A passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
Start Date: February 2025
