Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparing year-end accounts, tax computations and management accounts
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering technical support
- Building long-standing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Providing practical tax planning advice and ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Supporting clients with digital accounting and cloud-based systems

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with solid experience in a general practice setting
- Comfortable preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for SMEs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
- Confident managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software is an advantage
