Our client has an opportunity for a Facilities Management Assistant to join them on an initial contract until August 2025. You will be providing support in co-ordination of Facilities Management (FM) activities ranging from Maintenance to Strategic Construction projects, acting as a focal point and drum beating actions/ updates as required.
The successful candidate will be key interface for FM working with the business to support on facilities related topics.

Role: Facilities Management Customer Interface
Location: Broughton, Flintshire - fully onsite
Hours: 35 per week
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: 35ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with Site Business Partners and Building custodians to define and lead the introduction of an effective Site/Building Process confirmation routine and action follow-up
  • Manage action recording and timely follow-up and updates to wider business areas on FM topics
  • Act as the local voice of FM at Site level working groups where required
  • Provide support to the Site FMRE BP to own reactive/unplanned issues that arise across site
  • Provide support to the site FMRE BP and EHS Controller on EHS topics requiring action / improvement, acting as a co-ordinator where required

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years' experience in facility management or building & construction is required (ideally in a factory / production facility)
  • Effective communication skills, strong customer relation and stakeholder management skills are essential - the role will be more of a customer interface
  • The candidate needs to be dynamic and have good problem-solving skills
