In the heart of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire a 'Good’ Secondary School are on the hunt for a DT Teacher, that can teach Product Design to GCSE, to join them for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time permanent position (employed directly by the school)

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious DT Teacher, who can offer Product Design to GCSE and who is keen to add value to an expanding department. The Headteacher is looking to bring A-level product Design into the curriculum from September 2025. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It’s an exciting time at the school!

Early Career Teachers of DesignTechnology (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have QTS or QTLS
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding’ level
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
