Based in South Wales, this company are among the fastest growing manufacturers in the UK and have been consistent in their success since the start. Having won multiple awards and achieved international recognition for their unique and innovative products they have recently seen an exciting period of growth. They are introducing a brand new, state of the art production line and as such are expanding and looking to bring in an Inventory Planner for an initial 6 month contract but with the view for it to become permanent.

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, purchasing raw materials, liaise with the production team to ensure inventory aligns with production plans. As Inventory Planner you will also work to continuously improve the process to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Working with the rest of the team and suppliers you will ensure that all necessary parts and supplies are delivered on time and to the required specifications.

This is a great opportunity for someone who may have the opportunity to transition to a permanent role in the future.

The Role:
*Ensure materials and parts are delivered on time and to specification
*Liaise with the rest of the team to ensure stock levels are maintained
*Work on continuously improving the inventory process

The Person:
*Experience in Purchasing, Stock Control or Planning
*Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be beneficial
*Good communication ability and happy to liaise with suppliers
