Contract Details: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 9am - 5:30pm, Friday 9am - 4:30pm

Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 per annum

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Customer Support Technician, fluent in French, to join our client's expanding team. About The Job:

As a Customer Support Technician, your role will be crucial in ensuring customers receive prompt and effective assistance. You will be the first point of contact, providing technical support and troubleshooting any software, hardware, and application issues. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting software, hardware, and application related issues.
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate technical team for timely resolution.
  • Documenting support cases and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering clear and efficient assistance to the French office as well.
  • Providing sales quotations and technical information to prospective customers.
  • Assisting with product testing, sign-off, and release processes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to share insights and enhance customer experiences.

Essential Requirements:

  • MUST have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in both English and French.
  • Proven experience in a customer support role, preferably in a technology-related industry.
  • A clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • A customer-oriented attitude with a passion for problem-solving.
  • MUST have a full clean UK driving licence.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with vehicle data acquisition techniques.
  • Exposure to vehicle CAN and GNSS technologies.
  • Basic electronics knowledge.

Candidates will be required to undertake a basic online aptitude test and may be asked to complete a Belbin Self Perception Inventory to understand their team role as part of the interview process.
