We are looking for a diligent Finance Manager to join our clients Accounting & Finance department in the FMCG Sector based in Buckingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, providing financial reports and interpreting financial information.

Description

Finance Manager

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
Manage month-end close activities, including journal postings and reconciliations.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset register management.
Assist with year-end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial insights.
Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Monitor variances and provide financial analysis to aid decision-making.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
Studying toward professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA or relevant experience
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding of financial and accounting principles.
A team player attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
