We are looking for a diligent Finance Manager to join our clients Accounting & Finance department in the FMCG Sector based in Buckingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, providing financial reports and interpreting financial information.

Description
Finance Manager- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
- Maintain financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal postings and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset register management.
- Assist with year-end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial insights.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Monitor variances and provide financial analysis to aid decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
- Studying toward professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA or relevant experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- A team player attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
