Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy client in Aston Clinton, This is a full-time permanent position to work at a rapidly growing business that truly values their staff and growth. Due to the location of the warehouse you will need your own transport or be able to cycle to work due to lack of transport links to the warehouse.
The working hours for this role are:
Monday to Thursday: 13:00 to 23:00 with potential O/T available
This Role Involves:
- maintaining and managing stock electronically using Merlin system and also phsycially
- managing annual stock counts and weekly spot checks
- managing picking of stock and assisting as and when required
- liaising with goods in team to ensure returned stock is put away correctly
- liaising with the Distribution Management team to ensure that team resources are utilised to meet the demands of the business
- making sure outside storage and parking areas is maintained to a high standard with any stock stored outside is done safely and securely
- setting KPI's for your teams
- monitoring and reporting your teams KPI's
- motivate, train and develop your team
- focus on continuous improvement of internal process and raise suggestions to increase efficiency
To be considered for this role you must have / be:
- a minimum of 2 years within a Warehouse Supervisor role.
- a minimum of 2 years experience within a stock management role
- reliable and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- computer literate (outlook & able to use Excel at a basic level)
- physically fit
- a valid forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
