Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering team to deliver exceptional maintenance and engineering support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

  • Oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment reliability.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and productivity.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team to achieve operational excellence.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the engineering function.

  • Manage engineering budgets and control costs while maintaining high standards of maintenance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with the production and operational teams to support site performance objectives.

  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Person Specification:
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, ideally within the Food, FMCG, or Manufacturing sector.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within the food manufacturing industry.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
