Reporting into the Head of User Experience, the IT Workplace Lead is a key operational and customer facing role focused on delivering exceptional IT workplace user experience for all end user devices and services at our core locations and remotely. The role will ensure that our employees receive the highest level of support and guidance for IT incidents and requests via a team of onsite/remote Workplace Engineers.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in our Warwick office 3 days per week, as well as ad-hoc travel to other offices on occasion.

What you'll do:

  • Drive and deliver a culture of exceptional IT user experience at Telent
  • Lead, manage, mentor and provide subject matter expertise to IT Workplace Engineers located onsite and remotely
  • Collaborate with key ITCS and business stakeholders to identify service improvements
  • Play a pivotal role leading key IT Workplace projects and initiatives including new technology introductions and device refresh programs
  • Collaborate with Service Design, Tech Workplace and Service Desk to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Tel Us.
  • Review and own IT Asset Management processes for end user devices and services, identifying improvement opportunities. Monitor assigned budget
  • Review the current processes/procedures and knowledge base for the team and identify opportunities for improvement

Who you are:

You will have experience in providing 1st/2nd/3rd Line Support for IT related queries, as well as strong people management skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Considerable experience supporting hardware, software, and operating systems in a modern workplace environment
  • Software management and support (Package, deploy and lifecycle of software, i.e, InTune)
  • Microsoft 365 & modern desktop management - M365, Intune, Defender, Teams PSTN
  • Hardware installation and support (Laptop builds & upgrades, Mobile Devices, Tablets, Audio Visual rooms & Printers)
  • Experience managing and developing onsite/remote engineers
  • Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for customer service and exceptional user experience
