The client I am working with is experiencing a fantastic period of growth and to be able to support this they are therefore looking for a Junior Network Engineer to join their technical team.

Job description:

You will play a crucial role in upkeep and maintenance of our organization's network infrastructure as a junior network engineer. You will work alongside senior engineers to monitor network performance, fix problems, and deploy new technologies. This position is a great way to hone your network engineering skills and obtain real-world experience

What we want from you:

• You have a genuine enthusiasm for network technology and are eager to expand your knowledge and expertise in the field.
• You possess strong analytical abilities and can effectively troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• You are skilled at conveying technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and work well with colleagues at all levels.

• Education: A-levels or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field, such as IT, Computer Science, or Mathematics. Recent graduates with a degree in a related discipline are also encouraged to apply.
• Basic Networking Knowledge: A basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and network security.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous IT Experience: Any prior experience in IT, even outside of networking, would be beneficial.
• Networking Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or JNCIA, would be an asset.
• Scripting or Programming Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) would be advantageous.
