We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our client's team as an Office and Sales Support Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running of the office and providing essential support to facilitate both potential and confirmed sales orders. Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will assist with key aspects of the sales process, respond to customer inquiries, and provide general administrative support.
You will also be required to assist the business owner with tasks related to trade inquiries and the importing of products from overseas.Â
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure. They should be capable of multitasking effectively and managing multiple priorities at once.
Strong customer service skills are essential, as the role involves engaging with trade customers both face-to-face and over the phone. A self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision is sought, along with someone who has a positive, "can-do" attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft 365, Word, and Excel, and have experience with Sage (though training will be provided if needed). Familiarity with in-house databases is a plus.
The salary range is £25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience.
