Personal Assistant & House Administrator – Near Burford, Oxfordshire

Location: Hybrid – 50/50 remote and on-site (flexible)

Hours: 30 hours per week (negotiable)

Salary: circa £38,000pa pro rata  (negotiable)

Are you a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Personal Assistant with a passion for organisation, communication, and project coordination?

We are looking for a dynamic PA & House Administrator to support a landowner and social & enterprise Director who is brimming with ideas but needs help staying organised.

This is a unique and varied role that involves supporting multiple business and personal interests, as well as overseeing the smooth running of the household.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary & Time Management – Coordinating a busy schedule across multiple roles.
  • Communication Support – Handling emails, phone calls, and messages.
  • Idea & Task Capture – Recording past achievements and future commitments.
  • Research & Strategy – Supporting projects with relevant research.
  • Social Media & Messaging – Planning and executing consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Event Support – Assisting with on-site events, sometimes organised by third parties.
  • Record-Keeping – Managing records of activities, contacts, and commitments.
  • Household & Property Management – Coordinating maintenance visits, managing tenancy agreements, and tracking utilities.
  • Financial Admin – Paying invoices, tracking expenses, and liaising with service providers.
  • Team Coordination – Working alongside the head gardener, housekeeper, and other staff to maintain efficient household operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extremely well-organised and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Creative thinker who can see connections between diverse activities and concepts.
  • Tech-savvy – proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel (knowledge of Xero is a bonus).
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
  • Understanding of neurodiversity or a willingness to learn.
  • Positive, adaptable, and eager to take on a varied workload.
