Our client, a thriving organisation within a recession-proof industry, is expanding and seeking a skilled Accounts Bookkeeper to join their team in Burgess Hill.
This role is ideal for an experienced individual who enjoys a varied position, contributing to financial stability and compliance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with general accounts administration tasks
- Conduct VAT and tax calculations and submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Produce debtor reports and other periodic financial analyses
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Proven office-based accounts experience
- Knowledge of VAT and CIS regulations
- Proficiency in Sage and Kashflow is advantageous
- Highly organised and proactive, with a structured approach to tasks
- Strong all-around accounting skills to handle a diverse set of financial tasks

- Competitive salary of 28,000 - 32,000pa DOE.
- 23 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
- Full-time, Monday - Friday hours (9am - 5pm)
