Sales Executive
Burgess Hill, £30-£37K (DOE), performance related commission, 40 hours Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, opportunity for term time only or reduced hours in school holidays, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension, gift vouchers, sick pay, parking onsite
The Role
Our client is a family run business with an excellent reputation within their industry. They are seeking a skilled Sales Executive with a talent for building relationships, driving account growth and securing new business. The role will involve the selling and overseeing of furniture products within the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make 40 dials a day, split between follow-up and proactive calls
- Arrange multiple appointments for the Sales Manager and identify potential leads
- Follow up on quotes within 24 hours and follow up until closed
- Analyse leads, make outbound sales calls, maintain an up-to-date pipeline
- Prioritise proactive tasks and complete reactive tasks outside core calling times
- Assist customer services with incoming enquiries
- Request special costings and arrange samples for clients
- Support the sales and wider team as needed
- Potential for managing projects if required
Requirements:
- Strong sales background
- Knowledge of using Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience of selling to the Education sector would be useful
- Experience of Sage 50 and Pipedrive CRM would be advantageous though full training can be given
The successful candidate will have be a positive and proactive individual with a "can do" attitude. You will be confident and approachable, possess a hardworking and conscious attitude and be driven by success. It is essential that you have strong commercial awareness and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
