Scheduling Coordinator

Burgess Hill, £30,000, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), free parking, pension.

The Role:

We are delighted to be working in an exclusive capacity with our fabulous client where an excellent opportunity has arisen to work with one of the South's leading Building & Engineering training providers specialising specifically within the Apprenticeship sector.

The position of Scheduling Coordinator is a key role in the operational function of the company. The role involves scheduling the short courses and apprenticeship training across all sites, working with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient plans meeting both internal and external needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Short and long term planning of training requirements
  • Develop and maintain the Organisation plan forecasting 11 months in advance
  • Allocation of training rooms. practical workshops, assessment areas including trainer and assessor resources
  • Day to day adjustment alterations to the training plan
  • Organising invigilation resource and covering where required
  • On point for the complete journey from confirmation and receipt of training through to completion
  • Overall sales turnover to be maximised by ensuing labour is fully utilised
  • Creation of monthly reports to define utilisation of planning, forecasting efficiency's, ratios and risks
  • Annual facilities appliance services
  • Planning required assessors, invigilators and trainers standardisation meetings.

Requirements:

This role would suit an individual who has experience of scheduling along with a strong administration background. We are seeking someone who is IT literate and a competent user of Microsoft Office, thrives in a busy environment and ideally is an advanced user of Excel.

My client provides specialist training to the Building Engineering Services Sector. They have been delivering gas, plumbing and electrical apprenticeships since 2004. Apprentices on their programmes benefit from a wealth of industry experience amongst their training team, as well as extensively equipped workshop facilities and structured learning programmes.
