We are seeking a Property Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic accounts team within a proactive property company based in Burgess Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is highly organised, and has strong IT skills. Experience with QUBE (Property CRM system) is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising and issuing service charge and ground rent invoices (monthly and quarterly).
  • Liaising with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping.
  • Managing both sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Progressing towards managing your own portfolio of clients.
  • Assisting external accountants with year-end accounts.
  • Supporting property managers with budgets, debtors, and credit control.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts-based role (property sector experience advantageous).
  • Ideally AAT Level 2-3 qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and experience with accounting software (QUBE experience preferred).
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactive, professional, and detail-oriented with a "can-do" attitude.
