Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer eager for an exciting opportunity within a new joint venture in the water industry? Our client, a pioneering collaboration between two leading contractors, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to key projects within the Southern Water region.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical engineering elements of water infrastructure projects, from design through to implementation.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure smooth and integrated project execution.
  • Review, verify, and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve electrical engineering challenges and ensure project continuity.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and technical submissions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within the water sector or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across disciplines and engage with clients.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering) and professional certifications.
  • Knowledge of Southern Water Framework or similar utility frameworks is a plus.
