The Company:

With a strong trade brand, this is a well established supplier of home and garden products that provides UK retailers with an imported range. Close financial oversight is required to manage currency exchanges, forward order contracts, invoice finance, risks and costs.

The role: Finance Manager (part-time. 25 hours per week)

Salary £55,000 (full time equivalent) + annual bonus. Hybrid with one day from home each week.

  • Prepare and present timely financial reports including management accounts (balance sheet, p&l, cash flow forecast.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the invoice finance facility.
  • Budgeting and forecasting in line with company strategy.
  • Lead currency risk management.

Candidate profile: Finance Manager (part-time)

We seek a high calibre, part-time Finance Manager with a sociable character and the communication skills to work effectively across all departments and share the passion that sits with all of the team.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Ideally, AAT qualified with financial leadership experience.
  • Understanding of international transactions and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools (Excel, financial software).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
