Description
As a Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging learning activities.
- Provide individualised support to students, focusing on their unique learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Facilitate group activities and encourage student participation.
- Support the school's policies and ethos.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to promote a cohesive learning experience.
Profile
A successful Teaching Assistant should have:
- Ideally proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
