Locum Safeguarding CAMHS Social Worker

Location: Small Inpatient Setting (Fully On-Site)
Rate: £40 per hour (Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Alternative Option: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (4 days per week)
Meals: Free meals provided on-site for all staff and locums.
Parking: Free on-site parking available.

Are you an experienced CAMHS Social Worker passionate about safeguarding children and adolescents? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our small inpatient setting as a Locum Safeguarding CAMHS Social Worker. This role is entirely site-based, meaning no community travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing safeguarding procedures, including management and reporting.
  • Liaising with police, families, and local councils to ensure cohesive care and protection plans.
  • Conducting consultations and investigations into safeguarding concerns.
  • Providing professional guidance and support to staff regarding safeguarding issues.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Valid SWE Registration (Social Work England).
  • Previous experience in a CAMHS or safeguarding role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective liaison and collaboration.
  • Immediate availability or the ability to start quickly.
  • While being a car driver is not required, candidates must be comfortable with fully on-site work.
