IT Support Engineer - Build & Deployment

Location: Burgress Hill

As part of a wider team, supporting the UK users of a global financial services corporation, your role is to take responsibility in the preparation, build and staging of user IT equipment - typically Windows 10, Mac OS, mobiles and tablets.

You will monitor and respond to hardware requests - be that new starters, leavers requiring data sanitisation and fresh re-builds, as well as non-standard IT equipment, mobile phones and tablets.

The role carries with it responsibility of ensuring that the users are supported, equipped and that company stock availability is never in short supply. You are the very person that enables a new member of staff to be productive, and the existing users advanced in the latest IT solutions.

What we look for:

  • Previous experience / interest in PC builds using Windows 10 & Mac OS
  • Experience of sanitizing / data cleansing of equipment
  • Experience in the setup and configuration of mobile phones and tablets
  • Confident in the use of ticketing systems
  • Ability to pragmatically resolve new hardware requests, stock levels and non-standard hardware needs
  • Due to the varied nature of the role, it may be subject to enhanced referencing or vetting
