Our client is a private care support company based in Burnham. They support individuals in their own homes and aim to help their customers enjoy the best quality of life. The company is looking to hire a full-time Care Coordinator. The role is primarily office-based, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some on-call duties.

Role duties to include;

  • Managing the administrative functions on a daily basis.
  • Handling communications, answering incoming calls and processing all emails and correspondence efficiently and maintaining accurate records.
  • Use IT rota systems to assign care workers to customers based on their skills, experience, travel arrangements, and customer needs and preferences.
  • Participating in meetings (reviews, supervisions, and any other meetings with formal processes) to take minutes and prepare typed minutes.
  • Assist with investigations relating to the quality of the service and implement improvement actions
  • Communicate with customers and their chosen representatives about their care and support, assisting Managers with reviewing care plans, and applying changes.
  • To assist the Deputy Manager with recruitment, scheduling and interviews.
  • At times there may be requirements to provide hands-on care, this is anticipated to be on an ad-hoc basis.


It is important to have some prior knowledge and experience with supervisory responsibility / rota scheduling plus an understanding of the nature of the domiciliary care organisation and the diverse range of customer needs that comes with this environment, along with administrative experience. You should demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities within a busy environment while maintaining professional and empathetic communication.

It is essential that you have a driving license with access to a vehicle.
