Our client is a privately owned group of companies who have grown extensively over the last 5 years, and now look to recruit a driven and ambitious Management Accountant. The business is a multi-site organisation and offers the candidate professional growth and responsibility, on both a financial and commercial reporting basis.

As PQ Management Accountant your duties will include: -

  • Responsible to produce the monthly management accounts across two subsidiaries within the Group.

  • Work alongside the FD and develop the controls and processes throughout the monthly reporting.

  • Manage the overhead budget controls and labour variances.

  • Monitor the expenditure around freight and logistics costs and work closely with finance and customers in this area.

  • Monitor the stock reporting process, providing tighter controls around movements.

  • Management of the weekly cashflow process and associated reconciliations.

  • Work closely with the transactional team and provide guidance around accuracy and timely reporting.

  • Responsible for the fixed asset register.

Ideally you will be looking to qualify within the profession (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and be actively studying, within the role you will gain good exposure to month end reporting, development of controls and KPI reporting and support the business strategy moving forward. Over time the role will offer ownership and progression within the Group.
