A Burnley based company have an opportunity to appoint an Accounts Assistant on initial a 6 month basis but this could progress to a permanent role. Working closely with the Finance Manager this role offers full exposure across all transactional level accounts. The work culture is supportive, approachable and the company are award winning in their sector. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Resolving queries and offering support to external and internal suppliers and colleagues
- Statement reconciliations
The ideal person will be looking for an opportunity offering a good level of exposure and have at least 12 months experience in an accounts team. The ability to demonstrate strong IT and excel skills is advantageous and a good work ethic and team approach is essential.
