Were working with a well-established, growing business in the Burnley area that operates in a fast-paced, heavy industry environment and is expanding across multiple sites. With a strong, experienced team in place, they are looking for a NEBOSH-certified Health & Safety/Quality Manager to build on their solid foundations and support their ongoing success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety/Quality Manager to join a growing business with a skilled and supportive team. As part of a well-established company, your expertise will have a real impact. Experience communicating with the Environment Agency would be a valuable advantage.
What youll do:
Oversee health and safety across all areas of the site(s) addressing any concerns quickly
Develop safe working procedures and implement new risk assessments
Regularly review and update existing risk assessments and safe working procedures
Ensure all loads meet customer and site environmental permit requirements
Oversee accident/incident reporting and investigations, coordinating with the Group Compliance Manager on training needs
Complete all required permit reporting for site activities
Ensure the site adheres to environmental permits, health and safety standards, ISO 9001 and other organisational requirements
Handle any other HSQE-related needs for the business
