Veritas are recruiting an Early Years Teacher on behalf of a Burnley-based partner school. This role is to fill an upcoming resignation. Our passionate team is committed to providing high-quality education and care, ensuring each child develops a love for learning from a young age.

Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join the team. You will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children aged 0-5 years. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, assessing children's progress, and working closely with parents and caregivers to support each child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of individual children.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Assess and track children's progress, providing feedback and support to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a high standard of health, safety, and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Early Years Education.
  • Experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
