Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading and national provider that specialise in providing high quality Supported Living & Residential Services to adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, and other Complex Needs, with a remit to recruit for a Registered Manager for their brand-new adult Residential Service supporting individuals with complex autism and learning disabilities.

The Candidate

The Registered Manager will oversee and manage the Residential service for adults with complex learning disabilities and autism, some with potential challenging behaviours and communication difficulties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a management position with experience across residential settings for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and additional complex needs.

As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Operations Director, where together you will ensure the service users receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to complex autism.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Essential)
  • Previous experience within a CQC Registered Manager position (Essential)
  • Service specific qualification eg. Autism (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a residential and/or supported-living setting
  • Extensive knowledge on CQC guidelines and policies

Location

The role is located in Burnley, Lancashire and is commutable from Blackburn, Rochdale, Bolton, Todmorden, Preston and Clitheroe.

Interview Process

The interview process involves an initial interview with the Operations Director and Director of Quality, then a second interview with the Managing Director and Operations Director.
