Hays Health & Safety are excited to be working with a growing manufacturing organisation based in Burnley.This is the perfect role for a current Health & Safety officer/Administrator seeking an organisation bought into a strong Health & Safety culture with scope for progression.You will have experience in a Health & Safety specific position and knowledge of generating RAMS, Audits and documents that meet the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, alongside being robust and implemented on site.Your responsibilities
- Generating Health & Safety documents such as RAMS & Audits that comply to ISO accreditations
- Visit & Audit 15 sites once per year to ensure they are following processes implemented
- Develop and implement best practice documentation to improve the organisations compliance
- Develop Health & Safety specific training that can be implemented on sites
- Provide general administrative support to the organisation
- Manage Health & Safety within their office in Burnley
- Encourage near miss reporting and review data to spot gaps in documentation and communicate new best practice across the organisation
To be successful in this role, you will be open to travelling to the organisations sites atleast once per year to Audit their Health & Safety compliance - You will have a strong working knowledge of what an organisation will need to be compliant with ISO accreditations and experience in auditing sites based on these.You will be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders and be able to review data effectively bringing information to life.You will have experience writing Health & Safety documentation and developing this over time.For your expertise you will recieve a competitive salary of up to £35,000, alongside 28 days holiday, pension scheme, onsite parking, excellent amenities and a newly refurbed office within a company who invests in the retention of their staff and commited to professional development and progression.
