About the School:Our vibrant and supportive primary school in Burnley is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our team starting in April 2025. Role Overview:As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, innovative, and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring that all students reach their full potential. You will work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and personal growth. The role will initially be offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent based on performance and school needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 3.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners in the classroom.
  • Promote positive behaviour, respect, and inclusion for all students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Participate in whole-school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in primary education.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Be passionate about teaching and helping children develop a love of learning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive, organised, and committed to working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a positive and resilient approach to challenges in the classroom.
