PE teacher - Burnley - October half term start We are supporting a secondary school in Burnley who are recruiting for a qualified teacher of PE to join them for the rest of the academic year after October half term. The role will be full time and you will be required to teach KS3 & 4 children. Also if you have also recently taught BTEC PE this would be advantageous. If you have experience coaching a school team of football, cricket or rugby would be advantageous, but not essential, it would be ideal if you were willing to be part of a coaching team of any of the above sports. Start date October 2024 End date - July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day Hours 8.30-4pm Monday to Friday EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
