We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an SEMH school in Febuary 2025. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping young people re-engage with education. The successful candidate will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting resources as needed.Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging engagement and confidence.Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to monitor and report on student progress.Support students both inside and outside the classroom to enhance their learning experience.
What We're Looking For:We are looking for a proactive and empathetic Learning Support Assistant with:
Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school setting or in a similar role.Skills: Strong communication, patience, and adaptability in addressing a variety of learning needs.Attributes: A caring and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting students development.Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential, as training is provided).
