Prospero Teaching is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a school near Burnley, starting in January 2025 and running until the Easter half term.
The role involves supporting children with special educational needs in small groups and on a 1-1 basis, with working hours from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
Candidates must have previous experience supporting children with SEN, and a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired.
The minimum rate of pay for this position is £85 per day, depending on experience.
To be eligible, applicants must hold the Right to Work in the UK and have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join of our schools near Burnley. This will be starting in January as a full time position and will run until the Easter half term.

You will be supporting children with SEN in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired
