SEN Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join one of our excellent schools near to Burnley. This is a full time position to start after the February half term.

The Role:

Preparing learning resources and activities
Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Positively managing behaviour

Position Details:

Position: SEN TA
Location: Burnley
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
