Role Overview:We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to work 2.5 days per week. In this crucial role, you will lead and manage the provision for students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs.
  • Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide training and guidance on best practices for inclusive teaching.
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to support student needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant SENCO qualification.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
