Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for a specialist setting in Burnley, responsible for teaching secondary-age pupils with complex needs.
Candidates must have previous experience in a UK or SEN setting and a good understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice.
The position is full-time, starting in January, with a minimum pay rate of £162 per day.
Applicants must hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, or equivalent qualifications, along with up-to-date safeguarding training.
To be eligible, candidates must have the right to work in the UK and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you are a caring and experienced Teacher? Prospero Teaching are looking for an outstanding SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in the Burnley area.

You will be responsible for providing quality teaching to pupils of secondary age with complex needs, ensuring they are able to reach their personal full potential.

You must have previous experience of teaching students with special educational needs, preferably in a specialist setting. You should also have a good understanding of the current SEN Code of Practice, and be committed to promoting the settings ethos of inclusion.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and stimulating lessons, and be able to differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils. You must be able to work collaboratively with other staff, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all pupils have the best possible educational experience.
