Part-Time SEND Teacher - SEN Unit (September Start)

Veritas Recruitment is working with a school with a specialist SEN unit seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs, fostering their development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:
  • Position: Part-Time SEND Teacher

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

? Extensive experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)? A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development? A secure knowledge of continuous provision and how to create engaging learning experiences? A patient, creative, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs? A relevant teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and SEND experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support children in their early development, promoting independence and confidence
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic progress
  • Implement differentiated learning strategies to meet each child's needs
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
