About Us: Veritas are recruiting a Year 4 Class teacher on behalf of a partner school in Burnley. The class has a diverse range of needs, including high levels of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a significant number of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 4 teacher who can inspire and engage our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work closely with SENCO and support staff to ensure effective interventions.
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience, particularly in Year 4 or similar year groups.
  • Proven experience working with high levels of SEN and Pupil Premium students.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and differentiation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping all students succeed.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
