Role Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join our team in January 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners. In addition to classroom teaching, this role includes responsibilities, either a Subject Lead or SENCO, depending on your experience and strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Year 4.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Lead a specific subject area, driving curriculum development and innovation. This could be any subject you have a specialism in.
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, resilience, and responsibility.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community to support student progress and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Experience in a leadership role (as a Subject Lead or SENCO) is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting all students.
