PAYROLL MANAGER

Our client is recruiting for a Payroll Manager on a temporary basis with expertise in using iTrent, to effectively manage the company's payroll operations. As the Payroll Manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely payment of employee wages and dealing diligently with all statutory reporting and payments.

  • Manage and supervise the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
  • Compile, monitor, and manage payroll data received from HR using the iTrent system.
  • Ensure the payroll system is accurate, compliant with legislative requirements, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Implement continuous audits to maintain data accuracy and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis.
  • Adjust payroll records based on new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence, ensuring the accuracy of data within the iTrent systems.
  • Stay updated on and comply with existing and emerging payroll legislative requirements.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee information to protect payroll operations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting and other special projects as needed.
