Our client is currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis with expertise in using iTrent. As the Payroll Administrator, your key responsibility will be ensuring all employees receive accurate remuneration in a timely manner and all statutory reporting and payments are accurately processed. This role is temporary and you will need to be available to start immediately.

  • Administer and oversee the preparation, distribution, and reporting aspects of payroll.
  • Compile and manage payroll data obtained from the HR department.
  • Ensure the payroll processing is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Direct the overall processing of payroll by using the iTrent system.
  • Oversee adherence to statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Regularly audit data to ensure accuracy and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies through data collection and analysis.
  • Adjust payroll records based on new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence, ensuring such data are accurate within the iTrent systems.
  • Stay updated and comply with existing and new payroll legislative requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information to ensure privacy and security.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, amongst other special projects as necessary.
