Full Job Description:
As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the company, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the wider team to deliver successful projects. This role is key in coordinating office activities, liaising with clients and suppliers, and overseeing internal processes to maintain efficiency and productivity. Your experience in the renewables, construction, or M&E sectors will be crucial in understanding the specific requirements and demands of the industry.

Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Manage daily office operations, including administrative tasks, supplier coordination, and office supplies.
  • Support the leadership team by preparing reports, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between office staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and client contracts.
  • Maintain office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Provide support to the project management team on various administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate HR activities, such as onboarding new employees and managing staff records.
  • Oversee health and safety procedures within the office environment.
  • Facilitate internal communication to enhance team collaboration and workflow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally within the renewables, M&E, or construction sectors.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with staff, clients, and partners.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction or engineering environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office software.
