Role ResponsibilitiesAudit Leadership & Quality Control
  • Develop and implement the firm’s audit strategy and quality assurance standards
  • Act as a Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring audits are compliant with ACCA regulations and industry best practices
  • Oversee audit engagements across a broad industry spectrum, with a focus on SMEs and owner-managed businesses
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the audit team, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality audit delivery
Strategic Contribution & Board Engagement
  • Work closely with the board and senior leadership team to shape the long-term strategy of the audit department
  • Provide insights on audit growth, operational efficiency, and service enhancement
  • Ensure the audit function aligns with the firm’s broader business objectives and strategic vision
  • Act as a champion for the audit team, advocating for investment in people, resources, and infrastructure
Business Development & Client Management
  • Strengthen and expand client relationships, ensuring high service levels and long-term retention
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the audit division, identifying new opportunities and cross-selling services
  • Represent the firm in networking events, industry forums, and client presentations, showcasing the firm’s expertise in audit
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
  • Ensure that all audits are conducted in accordance with ACCA standards and UK audit regulations
  • Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging audit trends, advising the firm on best practices
  • Uphold and enhance the firm’s reputation for excellence in audit quality and compliance

Candidate Requirements
