Our client, is offering a fantastic opportunity to join their team at an exciting time for the business. With their recent move to new UK headquarters and the implementation of a new ERP system, they are focused on standardising finance processes and driving efficiency's. You will play a critical role in analysing and reporting on the company's fixed assets, including software, ensuring these are accurately recorded to support key decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and maintain accurate records for fixed assets (tangible and intangible), including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.- Complete month-end postings related to fixed assets, review data for accuracy, and explore ways to automate processes.- Assist the Financial Controller in monthly procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations and ensure audit and SOX compliance.- Build strong relationships with departments to ensure proper fixed asset procedures are followed, and provide valuable data analysis to support decision-making.- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure accurate processes around fixed asset purchases and their setup in Dynamics 365 (D365).- Provide analysis and insight into software development fixed assets and software project costing for segments like Gaming, Leisure, and Virtual & Interactive.- Drive continuous improvement within the finance team and foster effective communication across departments.

Key Essentials:

- Qualified accountant with 3-10 years of post-qualification experience in a management accounting role.- Essential experience in fixed asset accounting.- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience is a plus).- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks.- Knowledge of US GAAP technical accounting around software development would be an advantage.
