Job Title: Engine Stripper
Location: Burton On Trent area
Duration: Temp ( 3 months)
Pay Rates: DOE

Hours of work: (44 hours) 7am to 5pm Mon to Thurs and Fri 7am to 1pm.

Our Engineering client based in the Burton On Trent area, is looking for an Engine Stripper on a temporary basis.

Position Summary:

This role would involve the dismantling and re-assembling of engines in line with Manufacturer
standards/warranty.

Key Accountabilities/ responsibilities:

1. Be able to strip and replace all the mechanical components to engine as per instruction.
2. Collect new parts and distribute to the right engines/machinery.
3. Jet wash engines after final checks before they leave site.
4. Carry out any other reasonable duty or task as instructed by your manager
5. Ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
6. Mentor trainees / apprentices when applicable.
7. Adhere to a line managers' written or verbal reasonable instruction.
8. Report any near misses.
9. Maintain good level of attendance at work.
10. Comply with Company and statutory Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and HR
policies and procedures.
11. Report any failures / faults identified

Qualifications/Education required:

* NVQ level 3 in motor repairs or equivalent
* Experience in rail or automotive industry
